  ANS is a truly wonderful community. Not only do they offer a beautiful, enriching, safe, play based environment for the children, but they also offer a wide range of parent education opportunities and an incredibly supportive and lovely community of families and staff. This is our 3rd year (2nd child) at ANS and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are deeply committed to the social emotional growth of our children, and it is apparent in every interaction.

  I recently enrolled my son in Altadena Nursery School and I am so happy that I did. He loves the school and it is because the teachers put so much effort into building trust with him in the early weeks that he now feels confident and comfortable in his new environment. The way the teachers communicate to the students is so deliberate and intentional - they give them the skills they need to take care of themselves, communicate their thoughts and feelings, and socialize with other kids and adults. The community of parents is so supportive and caring. We are grateful to be a part of it!
